Open Spots on the Tiddly Inkers Design Team

Tiddly Inks has a few open spots on the Tiddly Inkers design team. If that makes you jump for joy (and I hope it does LOL), then please read this: :)

The Tiddly Inkers are a bunch of very talented and happy ladies and we want a few more just like them. :) To be considered, you must join in the challenges for the next month, be a member of Tiddly Inks PCP group who posts at least twice a week, be able to fulfill the duties, and not be on a huge number of other design teams.

If you think you want to be part of this, then we would love to see your mad crafting skills. :) I will be relying on the Top 3 to 5 picks from the weekly challenges to create a pool of candidates and then the Tiddly Inkers will pick from those and decide who they would like to see join us (I sound like a cult…a cult of cuteness and coloring LOL). This will start on Sept 7 and during the challenges from Sept 7 - Oct 5, you must participate in at least 4 challenges.

As a Tiddly Inker, your duties will be to:

--Post on the Tiddly Inks Paper Craft Planet forum/message board 

--Help inspire other members by posting to our weekly challenges (they are submitted by Monday)

--Visit the weekly challenge entries and comment on them (seeing all the gorgeousness is pretty fun. :D)

--Post a Tiddly card on your personal blog once a week 

--Create one "how-to", "tutorial" or "make and take" for the Tiddly Inks blog every six weeks or so if you can

--Promote Tiddly Inks when and wherever possible (i.e. blog badges, signature lines, etc) 

--Be generally awe-inspiring...:)

So, a good place to start is to join in the challenge next week and say goodbye to summer. I hope we see you for the next month--and beyond!!!

Challenge 18: Time to gear up for school

Hello, hello, hello!!! We are here to celebrate the return of the school day. :) It is time for most kiddos to go back to school or they will be going back soon. This is a great time to make those teacher cards, so I hope you will join in. Why? 'Cause it is time to gear up for school!! :) 

Please post your school-time card by Tuesday Aug 31 at 10 PM. You will not be qualified for prizes unless the card uses a Tiddly Inks image, but you are welcome to join in either way. :)

Meet Caz

I met Caz online when I mixed her up with another English Caz. LOL I felt like an idiot, but she very graciously continued to color some of my images and sweetly forgave me. And am I glad she did. :) She makes the most wonderful, lively creations, including cards. :) She is also a lovely person to just chat with and she takes time to do so, despite her many DT commitments. So glad to have Caz on board. :)

Here is what she had to say about herself:

Hi, I am Caroline although in the crafting world most people call me Caz. I am 40, and live in the UK with my husband of 21 years David and our 8 year old daughter Georgia. I started cardmaking back in 2004, I became hooked while buying gifts for my lovely Mother in Law who also makes cards. After about a year of card making I added Scrapbooking and other Home Decor items to my hobby list. I am a proper night owl and most of my best creations are made late at night and into the small hours of the morning. Once I am engrossed in what I am doing it is normal for me to roll into bed at 2am.....and then have to be up again at 7am. Since January 2008 I have become hooked on stamping and colouring with my Copics, and have managed to introduce quite a few on my friends back to cardmaking and colouring. My daughter is also a huge fan of colouring, and we regularly sit together and make cards, I even got my 9 year old niece colouring images too. My cards tend to be quite dimensional and regularly feature flowers, pins, bling, glitter, lace and ribbon. I have been told I have a good eye for colour....even though I cannot draw for toffee...thank goodness for talented artists like Christy who provide me with wonderful images to colour.

Meet Lissa

I met Lissa when she got involved in our PCP group and she was a delight. She is also a photograhper and a busy mom. You can find her blog here. 

I am very glad to have Lissa on the team along with her delightful creations. :)
Here is what Lissa had to say about herself:

Hi-a!  I'm Lissa, a purr-fectionistic crafter who recently started dabbling in Copics and got on my first design team ever with the other talented Tiddly Inkers...  I've been happily married to my best friend for 12 years in December and 10 of that has been as a military wife...  ;)  I have 2 wonderful children & 7 furbabies...  We're currently stationed the other side of nowhere at Ft. Irwin in CA.   I've been crafting since I was 4, but scrapbooking only for the last 13 years and card making for the past 6 months...  My other hobbies include reading, photography, sewing and collecting all the craft items I can get my hands on...  I'm so happy to have the chance to be on Christy's uber-talented design team!!!
