Wow Ya Wednesday featuring Leigh O'Brien from Sunflower Studio

Oh you are going to L-O-V-E our feature for today! Please welcome Leigh O'Brien of Sunflower Studio
We are so very lucky to have Leigh joining us today!  She has been creating with Tiddly Ink images for awhile now and we just could NOT resist asking her to be a feautred artist!  Here is what she had to say about herself:
"I am lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom to one great boy. I’ve been married for 16 years to a very tolerant man who looks the other way when the bags and packages come through the door – although, he often refers to my “studio” as “the crap room” instead of the CRAFT room! I have been stamping for at least 10 years and I love it. I love the the stamps and the supplies and the sense of accomplishment that completing a project brings. I also love the huge community of artistic, creative, wild and wacky stampers that I’ve met both in person and online. When I’m not making something crafty (and I’ve tried it all!), I like to read, go to the movies, enjoy the beach, sightsee, and spend time with friends and family. I am a huge Tiddly Inks/Christy Croll fan and am so thrilled to join you all."
Leigh made this fabulous creation for us using Soccer King - don't you just love the fun bright colors?

Here are a few other mouth watering creations from Leigh!

Be sure to stop by Sunflower Studio and leave a comment for Leigh!  Her gorgeous blog is a must on your blog reading list!

A Special Wow Ya Wednesday - Arabella of Chickie Chirps

This week we decided to do a special Wow Ya Wednesday for one of our wonderful challenge participators.  Many of you know Arabella of Chickie Chirps.
She has been participating in challenges for awhile now and we are always in awe of her fabulous creations!  This is what she had to say about herself:
"I am a 34 years old, and I am a Kiwi currently living and working with my husband in a tiny town in Greece called Lavrio (but we are moving closer to Athens to an area called Glyfada in the next few weeks).
I am the chef and stewardess on a 38m superyacht.  My husband and I have been working together in the superyacht industry for six years after he finally convinced me to take a break from my scientific career to join him travelling the world and getting paid to do it.
I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I am well suited to the role of stewardess where we clean things to death… (imagine cleaning with toothbrushes, toothpicks and cotton buds).  We do work really hard though…  especially on this yacht where I am stewardess and chef.  When the guests are on board we work 14 – 16 hour days and when they are not on board we do a normal 9 til 5 week… (we get one day off).
Crafting in my spare time keeps me sane.  I’m not the sort of person who enjoys just sitting around and watching TV without doing something else at the same time.  I am relatively new to card making and copics, but I love to colour with copics and only wish I had the whole set!   I have collected loads of crafting stuff here (I seem to have a bit of a compulsive online shopping problem)… I’m not sure what is going to happen will all our stuff when we finally head back to NZ!"
This is Arabella's fabulous creation she made special for today's post using Priscilla
Isn't the color just divine?  We love Arabella's color choices in all of her designs and this one is no exception.  Take a look at all the gorgeous dimension too!
Here are some of Arabella's other creations that we like to drool over!

Please leave her lots of Tiddly Love and don't forget to stop by her blog and soak up all the inspiration at Chickie Chirps!

Wow Ya Wednesday featuring Kate of The Kathryn Wheel

Please Welcome Kate of  The Kathryn Wheel
We love Kate's unique style and her eye for fabulous color! She has numerous posts that include her art journal and she teaches classes on the subject.  She also has her very own set of instructional DVD's for art journaling that can be found HERE.
Here is a little about Kate:
"Hi. My name’s Kate Crane and I live in the north of England with my husband, two children, our dog and several small animals. In real life I am a school teacher but I love art and crafts, especially art journaling. In my free time I love to play with paint, inks and especially rubber stamps. I write regularly for Craft Stamper magazine (UK), and have also had articles published in Somerset Art Journaling, Artful Blogging, Somerset Apprentice (USA). I’m on the Design Team for Dylusions (UK) and Stampotique (USA). Earlier this year I made two instructional DVDs on Art Journaling which was a first for me. I would describe my style as arty, quirky and a little off the wall! I’m absolutely delighted to be the guest designer for Tiddly Inks!"

Kate's FABULOUS Goodbye to Summer Creation using Always the Flower Girl!
"This is a large 12 x 8 page in my art journal (Moleskine). The background was created with Dylusions inks and paints as well as a few Dylusions stamps. The Tiddly Inks image was printed out quite large (she measures approx 5 1/2" tall) and I coloured her with Distress inks and a touch of oil pastel."

Some of our favorite non-Tiddly creations from Kate:

Don't forget to stop by Kate's blog, The Kathryn Wheel to show her some awesome Tiddly Love!  Her creations are SO very inspiring that we bet you'll want to see more!!

Wow Ya Wednesday featuring Krista of Crafty Little Piggy Tails

We wanted to extend a pleased welcome to Krista of Crafty Little Pig Tails. We are starting a new series of featuring artists who make us go Wow! and Krista is one of our first. :) She is on mulitple DTs and has this to say about herself...

"Hi! My name is Krista VanTol and I am passionate about all kinds of art! I started making cards about 9 years ago which spiralled into scrapbooking/painting/jewellery making/mixed media etc...You name it, I'm sure I've tried it! I love love love my copic markers and find card making an outlet for stress from the daily grind! I have two beautiful children and a great husband who know that the best place to send me when I'm cranky is to my craft room! I would describe my 'style' as cheery, clean and simple but love stepping outside the box every now and then. I absolutely love Christy's art and am completely over the moon to be a guest designer for Tiddly Inks!"

We wanted to share a bit more about her work and just enjoy the Wow factor. :) Here is Krista's card using School Girl following the Tiddly Inks challenge for this week - a Teacher Thank You!
