Tiddly Inks Tutorial Thursday on friday! :)

HI everyone! I (Larissa) have a tutorial for you today. It is a tutorial for a little gift box that I made. Excuse me for the horrible pictures of the workshop, because I had to take them inside. I also hope that the sizes in inches are correct as I am not used to working with inches. Ok let's start!

You start with a piece of cardstock with a size of 19,5 by 19,5 cm (7 ½ by 7 ½ inch) and you make score lines on 6,5 and 13 cm (2 ½ and 5 inch) on both sides.

Now you have 9 squares and you make score lines in the squares in all 4 corners. Make score lines from corner to corner in all those squares. Use a scoring tool, so you have really good score lines and it will be easy to fold the box.

Now you can fold those little corners just like the picture below.

Fold the corners towards the middle of the box, and I you have done this, the bottom of the box is finished and the only thing you have to do is decorate it.

For the decoration on the inside you have to cut 4 squares with a size of 6 by 6 cm (2 ¼ by 2 ¼ inch) I have used cardstock and stamps to decorate the inside. On the back of those squares I attached a piece of ribbon with a length of 25 cm (10 inch) and I added double sided tape so I can adhere these squares in the box.

This is what the bottom of the box looks like when it is finished.

For the cover of the box I used a piece of cardstock with a size of 15,7 by 15,7 cm ) I have printed the cookie on the cardstock.

Use your scoring tool to make score lines on 4,5 and 11,2 cm ( 1 ¾ and 4 3/8 inch) on all the side of the cover

Use your scissors to cut on 4 of the score lines

Adhere the double sided tape like I did on the picture and glue the cover of the box together. Now your box is finished.

I made a little card that goes together with the box. I have changed the image of cookie bugg and her cookie into a brown colour and printed them on my cardstock.

On the cover of the box I added a little bow that I made with brown ribbon

I have added 4 bags with tea in my box and in the middle I placed a little bag with 3 (tiny) chocolate chip cookies.

This is a close up of the bag with the cookies. I wrapped a brown ribbon around it to close it and on one end of the bow I added a cookie and on the other side I added the sentiment.

The size of my little card is 8,5 by 8,5 cm (3 ½ by 3 ½ inch). I used the very cute image cookiebugg.

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial. Have a nice day everyone!
