*Just a note* - there has been a Challenge Blog policy change here at Tiddly Inks. While we so appreciate all of your entries and your sharing your work with us, those entries using non-Tiddly Inks images will be removed from the Challenge Blog. Starting today, we will only be accepting entries with Tiddly Inks images. If you do not own any Tiddly images, there are so many gorgeous ones available here. Please let us know if you have any questions!
Now - onto Challenge #43!! This week we have a super challenge for you!! We challenge you to make a shaped card (no square or rectangle) not using a Cricut style machine. You may use your die cutting machines such as Big Shot, Cuttlebug, etc. The second part of the challenge is to use the photo provided below as your inspiration.
Our own Tiddly Inker Lysa has put together this tutorial to help you all out!
Style 1:Using your Cuttlebug (or other die-cutting tool), take a folded card and place your desired shaped diecut and slightly overlap the crease as pictured:
and TA-DA simple as that you have a shaped card!
Decorate and your card is complete!
Start with 2 matching die-cuts
Take one of those diecuts and score about 1/2" on one side
fold on that score line and add adhesive to the 1/2" area
Line up the other diecut shape and adhere
Decorate and you have another shaped card!
You are going to be blown away by what the design team has created for your inspirational enjoyment!! =) And we cannot wait to see your creations!!
As usual, please add them using the Inlinkz tool below!!
