Hi ya everyone - every Friday here at Tiddly Inks Challenge blog we are going to showcase different creations using the Fabulous Tiddly Ink images. Most will be Design Team creations but we will also showcase amazing cards from participants and friends from the blogging world and our Paper Craft Planet page - so if you're not a member join us! Challenge 33 - Refresh Me

Good Fabulous Day Everyone!! Welcome back to a brandie new year here at Tiddly Inks!!!

The TI Design Team Gals are all so excited and bursting with creativity which translates to you in the form of THE most gorgeous and inspiring creations! We encourage you and hope that you join us in this creative journey each week!!

We are going to have such fun with all new challenges, prizes, tutorials and techniques. Christy has been very busy creating new, stunning, and versatile images for the shop. Who doesn't love a new release at the very beginning of the New Year? =)

Now - onto our first challenge of 2011! It's a new year, new us, and a new YOU!! Today's challenge is "Refresh Me".

Create an all white card!! You are allowed to color your image but the rest of your card, embellishments, etc must be white! We cannot wait to see what you create and upload to the inlinkz below!! Please have your cards uploaded by next Tuesday, January 18th by 10pm EST.

I KNOW you will be beyond inspired by what the fabulous artists on Tiddly Inks Design team have created. I am floored and blown away as I ALWAYS am by my fellow DT sisters!

MONTHLY PRIZE
If you participate in each challenge for the month, we enter your name into a drawing. After the final challenge of each month, we pull one lucky winner from this pool and this artisan wins a $25 gift voucher to Tiddly Inks. Fun!!! :)

WEEKLY PRIZE
Our weekly prize is divided into two levels of placement:

1. The Design team will choose a Top 5 from the entries to receive a "I was a Tiddly Inks Top 5!" badge.
2. A random entry will be chosen to receive a $10 gift voucher to the Tiddly Inks store.

Welcome back everyone! :) I am so excited to be getting ready for new challenges and new fun!
We will be restarting our challenges next Tuesday and we have some changes in the works....and lots of new Tiddly images. :)

So what did we change?

First, we gave the blog a bit of a make over with more updates on the way.

Second, we have two new coordinators for the blog. The very talented Meredith is our new lead coordinator with an assist from the lovely Melissa.  You can meet them and see them in the post below. :) I am so excited to have them both.  They have been a part of the design team for a while and they are both amazingly talented and sweet gals.

Meredith and Melissa have created a whole year filled with fantastic new challenges and we hope that you will be joining us each week. They have lots of ideas and tutorials on the way for us too....I can't wait to see what they do. :)

Third, we will creating a monthly theme and the challenges will build up that theme. This month, the Tiddly Inks blog is celebrating new beginnings by saying "Let's refresh ourselves and our creativity." Stamping and coloring is something that I do for me...just for fun and just because it is such a joy to create something from scratch and see it turn into a piece of art. Plus, I get to buy paper and lots of little sparklies....LOL

And last, we have revamped the prizes. We will still have the Tiddly Top 5 as chosen by the design team, but we will also have a random winner of a $10 gift voucher to Tiddly Inks. But we have a new twist as well. If you participate in all weekly challenges for the month, you will be entered into a monthly drawing for a $25 gift voucher. One lucky participant from the pool of those who entered all the month's challenges will be randomly selected after the final challenge of the month.

So for the month of January, we are going to refresh ourselves by creating art for us and loving what we do. We hope you will join all the team next Tuesday when we start anew, completely refreshed and ready to be challenged. 

Welcome Back from Us Tiddly Gals!

Happy New Year all!!  We do hope you've had a fantastic holiday season and one that has brought you much joy, love and reflection.

We've been super busy here at Tiddly Inks coming up with AMAZINGLY fun challenges, photos, tutorials and lots more for the upcoming year!!

Before we delve into another crafty year we want to take a few minutes to introduce ourselves.  My fabulous Challenge Blog Coordinator counterpart, Melissa and I are so excited and honored to be helping Christy with the Challenge Blog, Designing and Creating!

I'm Meredith. 

Art runs in my blood. I have been doing fine art, crafting, sewing, knitting, collaging and photography for as long as I remember. My Mother was a lover of the fine arts, particularly oil painting. I vividly remember making book report covers in elementary school (with a little help from her) using charcoal to make etchings and then shading them in with colored pastel chalks!!!  I used to sneak into the living room and pour over the coffee table books on Van Gogh, Cassatt, Manet, Degas, Monet, and Renoir. As the years went on my styles changed constantly.

In college I studied Fine Art, Art History, and Costume History along with Fine Art restoration and preservation. I am now a stay at home, 37 year old Mother of 2 super, extra delicious, fantastic children ages 6 and 4.5 respectively; I have a loving and supportive husband of 14 years along with a gorgeous dog, Katie. I have always loved making things with my hands.  I find, specifically with cards and alterable projects that having a smaller “canvas” to work with is much less intimidating than having a huge piece of stretched art canvas standing on an easel in front of you…which is why I never had tremendous luck in the art of oil painting (too intimidating!). I’ve also ALWAYS been drawn to mixed media projects which are why cards, alterables, scrapbooks, etc fit perfectly into my creative vibe!!!

I am beyond thrilled to be working with Christy, Melissa and all of the amazingly talented Design Team Members here at Tiddly Inks!!

I'm Melissa.


I'm a pretty simple gal and I think that's reflected in most of my designs.  I really enjoy my time at my craft table even when it's hectic with my wonderful husband and two sweet girls (7 and 1) running around.  Since I can remember I've been doodling, painting, and thoroughly enjoying anything crafty and artistic.  However, this is the first time in my life that I am actually creating something on a daily basis.  I fell in love with Tiddly Ink images because of another wonderful design team member Donna Mundinger.  After seeing Donna's creations with Tiddly Inks I couldn't stay away.  I can't wait for the new challenges to begin and to work with Christy and Meredith over the next year and to get to know all of you better.  Here's to a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Off For the Holidays

Happy Holidays everyone! :)

Although the Tiddly Inks shop is still open and Christy is working, the challenge blog will be taking a break until January 11. We will be creating new challenges, spending time with our families, and recharging our creativity.

We hope you are able to do the same and enjoy some relaxing vacations and holidays.
